2. In the classroom, the best types of writing activities while using technology would be using the computer to reasearch facts and information online for a research paper or essay. Using the computer would narrow down the resources and topic, making it less difficult and less time consuming. Although there are a lot of useless information and untrue facts, so you should be alert aas to the resources you are using. Another writing assignment that could be incorperated into technology would be a project or essay on one main topic or an autobiography on a famous historical person. Using other resources would be helpful too.

Good afternoon...I am posting this blog for my technology for educators class. I attend ACCC, the Cape May County campus and am studing to be a middle school teacher.

Students find virtual worlds so engaging because it escapes their world into a different world with different set of rules. Students can be and act how they choose without embarrasing themselves. Virtual worlds give students the chance to be involved with situations that they may not usually be comfortable in a regular setting with multiple people. Virtual worlds allows people to pretend and imagine without being judged by other students. Although virtual worlds is not facing reality, only hiding behind a computer screen. There are many activities that would not be presented in an university or school that are in virtual world, it is a different way of learning.
